I am the Founder of EnCello Toronto and hold a Master of Music degree in Cello Performance from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (UK). With a deep passion for cello ensembles, my musical journey has taken me across prestigious stages in America, Europe, and Asia, including performances in the UK, Taipei, Japan, Myanmar, as well as the Disney Concert Hall in California.

Music, to me, has always been about connection — bringing people together to create, learn, and grow. That belief carries through everything I do, both on stage and in the studio.

Below, explore two sides of my musical life — as a performer on stage, and as a mentor guiding the next generation.

Biography

PERFORMING

As a performer, I love bringing music to life — from solo recitals and chamber concerts to wedding gigs and orchestral performances.

In 2024, I founded EnCello Toronto, where I invite musician friends and talented emerging cellists to perform alongside me, blending professional performance with education.

I believe every student deserves the chance to feel the joy of performing — not just practicing alone in a room. My teaching focuses on building the technique, theory, and listening skills students need for exams, auditions, and competitions — paired with regular chances to perform. That regular stage time is what turns nervous first performances into lasting confidence and a lifelong passion for the cello.

In 2017, I joined El Sistema Taiwan to bring music education to underprivileged children — a commitment to making music accessible to all that continues today.
